Francisco Manuel Martín Zamora is a Computational Biologist with extensive experience in designing and analyzing large-scale computational projects, particularly in bulk and single-cell transcriptomics and epigenomics at Altos Labs. Prior to this role, Francisco served as a Scientist I and PhD Candidate at Queen Mary University of London, where significant work involved utilizing over 600 multi-omics datasets to investigate animal development and evolution, resulting in six published journal articles. Teaching responsibilities included facilitating practicals and seminars in life sciences and mentoring students. Earlier experiences include undergraduate research roles at the Spanish National Center for Cardiovascular Research and the Centro Nacional de Biotecnología, focusing on protein hydrogels and protein engineering, respectively. Francisco holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from Queen Mary University of London and a BSc with Honours in Biochemistry from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
