Kaylyn Oshaben

Kaylyn Oshaben is a Senior Synthetic Biologist at ALTRATECH LIMITED, where work has been ongoing since September 2019. Previously, Kaylyn served as a Synthetic Biology Specialist and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from April 2016 to September 2019, focusing on the application of peptide nucleic acids (PNA) in diagnostic devices. Academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, obtained in 2016, where research involved the design and synthesis of coiled coil-based subunits for supramolecular biomaterials. Earlier experiences include undergraduate research at Saint Francis University, contributing to studies on tattoo ink composition and other projects.
