Jennifer Tanabe

Jennifer Tanabe has over 25 years of experience in the creative industry. Jennifer currently works as a Creative Director at ALTRES since 2021. Prior to this, they served on the Board of Directors at Diamond Head Theatre since 2017. Jennifer has also worked as a Mentor-Student at Punahou School and as a Creative Director and Partner at Wall-to-Wall Studios. Jennifer has owned their own business, Kinohi Designs, since 2001 and has held senior positions such as Creative Strategy Director/Art Director at Lewis & Montgomery, VP/Creative Director at 1013, and Director of Marketing at Anekona Development Group. Jennifer started their career as an Associate Creative Director/Senior Art Director at Milici Valenti Ng Pack Advertising and as an Art Director at EvansGroup. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in developing brand strategies, leading creative teams, managing budgets, and creating impactful campaigns.

Jennifer Tanabe completed their high school education at Punahou School from 1983 to 1992. Following that, they pursued a degree in Graphic Communications at Washington University in St. Louis, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from 1992 to 1996.
