Akin Olusuyi, CFA

Akin Olusuyi, CFA has been working in the finance industry since 2012. In 2012, they began working as an Investment Performance Analyst at Scotiabank - WaterStreet Family Office. In 2015, they joined Redev Properties Ltd. as a Director of Capital Markets & Investments, Manager of Investments & Acquisitions and Investment Analyst. In 2020, they joined Altrio as Chief Data Officer and VP of Research & Analytics. In their current role, they are responsible for helping real estate firms make data-driven investment decisions.

Akin Olusuyi has a diverse educational background. In 2008, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Economics from York University. In 2015, they obtained a Master's Degree in Finance, Capital Markets from Schulich School of Business - York University. Following this, they attended The Marquee Group in 2015-2016. In 2017, they earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from CFA Institute. In 2021-2022, they are currently enrolled in a Data Analytics Bootcamp from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Akin has also obtained several certifications from Canadian Securities Institute (CSI), including Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) in 2015, Portfolio Management Techniques (PMT) and Investment Management Techniques (IMT) in 2014, and Canadian Securities Course (CSC) in 2012. Additionally, they are a Candidate for Chartered Business Valuators (CBV) from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.
