Jennie Shore

Jennie Shore has over 40 years of work experience in the human resources field. Jennie most recently served as the People Director at Altrix since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant for a year from November 2021 to November 2022. Jennie also held the positions of Interim Human Resources Director at Medefer from July 2021 to September 2021 and Human Resources Director at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust from April 2021 to May 2021.

Before these roles, Jennie worked as the HR Director at Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for nearly 4 years, where they led various workforce initiatives and supported a large-scale merger. Jennie also served as the Deputy Director of Human Resources at NHS, starting in January 2008 and ending in June 2017. In this role, they were responsible for strategic HR, health and wellbeing, staff engagement, employee relations, recruitment, and temporary staffing. Jennie led an efficiency work stream in 2013/2014, achieving significant cost savings.

Furthermore, Jennie has experience as the Head of operational HR services at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust from October 2004 to December 2007. In this position, they managed a large TUPE transfer and handled complex employee relations cases while designing an HR framework for organizational restructuring. Their earlier experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at Isle of Wight NHS Trust from June 1982 to October 2004.

Jennie Shore earned a postgraduate certificate in leadership from the University of Chichester in 2014.
