Simona Reed, PhD, PMP

Simona Reed, PhD, PMP has over twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. Simona began their career in 1997 as a Senior Consultant/Operations & Manufacturing Project Manager for Washington Group International (now part of URS Corporation). In 2003, they moved to Watson Pharmaceuticals as a Sr. Lead, Commercial Drug Launch, where they managed the successful transfer of six products and launch of three products. Simona was promoted to Commercial Launch Manager in 2005, where they managed the global product launch portfolio of over 100 generic product launches and supported the manufacturing and packaging teams in achieving over thirty on time product launches. In 2011, Simona moved to Tanvex BioPharma, Inc. as Director of Corporate Project Management. In 2018, they joined Genentech as a Sr. Consultant in the Product Technical Regulatory group, responsible for managing the global regulatory efforts of the marketed large molecule products life cycle. Currently, Simona is Vice President of Clinical Operations at AltruBio Inc.

Simona Reed, PhD, PMP has an education history that includes a Regulatory Affairs and Compliance for Pharmaceutical Product degree from UC Irvine Division for Continuous Education, a PhD in Biology from the Institute of Experimental Medicine (Czech Academy of Science) in Prague, Czech Republic, and an RNDr (Rerum Naturalium Doctor) Degree in Biological Sciences (Honors with Distinction) from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovak Republic.
