About the position

Altruist is entering an exciting phase, and we're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team. As the Senior Product Manager, Mutual Funds at Altruist, you will take the lead in driving the ideation, development, and launch of innovative products. This role demands a balance of technical depth, excellent stakeholder collaboration, and a deep understanding of our users. You will be at the intersection of business, technology, and user experience, ensuring our mutual fund trading products are aligned with our company vision. 

What you’ll do

  • Product Strategy
    • Drive the creation and refinement of a clear product roadmap based on market research, competitive analysis, and user insights.
    • Ensure alignment of product initiatives with company goals and objectives.
  • Product Development
    • Lead cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, throughout the product development lifecycle.
    • Define product requirements and work closely with the engineering team to oversee the development and release of products.
  • User Insights
    • Conduct user research, surveys, and feedback sessions to gain insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
    • Translate user insights into clear product enhancements and features.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment on product decisions and communicating product status and results.
    • Foster strong relationships with sales, customer support, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
    • Monitor product performance through metrics and KPIs, using insights to iterate and improve.
    • Prioritize product features and improvements based on business impact and user value.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify potential product risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Address challenges promptly and ensure smooth product roll-outs.
  • Continuous Learning
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions.
    • Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to further enhance product management skills.

What you’ll bring

  • Five years of product management experience, with a proven track record of successfully delivering products to market.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with mutual fund trading and settlement..
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for creating user-centric products.
Los Angeles, CA salary range
$145,000$200,000 USD

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs).
