Alex Solis

Alex Solis is the Senior Manager of Financial Crime Prevention at Altruist. Prior to joining Altruist, Alex was the Director of Compliance at Aspiration, where they assisted clients in managing their accounts by processing account investments, dollar cost averaging, redemptions, and general account maintenance. Alex was also responsible for processing Transfer of Assets and Rollovers, and utilized critical thinking skills to balance providing superior customer service while mitigating company risk.

Before joining Aspiration, Alex worked as a Senior Client Services Representative at Capital Group | American Funds from March 2016 to December 2017. In this role, Alex processed new account applications and subsequent investments under time-sensitive deadlines, and was involved in continuous improvement projects to create more efficient and economical processes for daily tasks. Alex also positioned themselves as a resource for team members and new associates by always being available to answer questions, and maintained an accuracy level of 100% for majority of months as an associate.

Alex’s previous experience has positioned them well for their current role at Altruist, where they are responsible for overseeing the financial crime prevention efforts at the company. In this role, Alex works to ensure that all company practices are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and that any potential risks are identified and mitigated.

Alex Solis has a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. Alex also has a certification from FINRA in Series 7 General Securities Representative and Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent. Alex is also a certified Life-Only Agent from the California Department of Insurance.
