Mikko Matias Tainela

Mikko Matias Tainela has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and positions. Mikko Matias started their career at SSAB as a Business Controller from June 1998 to March 2003. Afterwards, they joined SAS, where they held various roles including Pre-sales Consultant from March 2003 to December 2004, Solution Manager from January 2005 to December 2007, Business Development Manager from January 2008 to December 2009, and finally Account Executive from January 2010 to June 2014. In 2014, they became the Managing Partner at Abillion Oy. Currently, Mikko is the CEO of Altum Technologies, a Finnish cleantech start-up, where they oversee the development and marketing of new externally installed power ultrasound solutions to increase customer's process efficiency.

Mikko Matias Tainela completed their M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, starting in 1995 and finishing in 2001. Following this, they pursued their undergraduate M.Sc. in Economics at Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu from 2001 until 2012.
