James P. McKee

James P. McKee has over 35 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development. James P. began their career at International Business Machines where they worked in sales and consulting for 17 years. During this time, they developed the first comprehensive electronic grants management system for research universities and led a consortium of universities in the development and marketing of the system.

In 2000, McKee joined ScienceWise as Vice President of E-commerce. James P. was responsible for sales, marketing, and business development, as well as helping to develop the company's business plan and sales strategy.

In 2002, McKee transitioned to Research and Management Systems, Inc. as Vice President of e-Commerce. James P. played a key role in the start-up and evolution of proposalCENTRAL, a grant management product. McKee also facilitated the transition of proposalCENTRAL and its member organizations to new owners at Altum, Inc.

Since 2007, McKee has been Director of Business Development for Grants Management Solutions at Altum, Inc. Their responsibilities include sales, marketing, and business development of two grants management products, proposalCENTRAL and Easygrants. McKee also manages collaborations among the member organizations of proposalCENTRAL, ensuring ongoing member satisfaction.
