Sean Patrick Harkins

Sean Patrick Harkins began their work experience in 2014 as a Business Developer for Health Quilt, Your Doctor Program, and The Clinic at Medical Square Pharmacy. In 2014, they also worked as a Project Manager, Webmaster, and On-Site Consultant for Ariana Vincent, CEO of the Ariana Institute for Wellness Education.

From 2014 to 2017, Sean worked for Altus Health, starting as an Applications Analyst and later becoming a Senior Applications Analyst and Senior Practice Integration Analyst for the Altus Accountable Care Entity (ACE).

In 2017, Sean briefly worked as a Subcontractor for OmniMD - Cloud EHR, PM and Billing in One. Sean Patrick then joined The Advisory Board Company as a Senior Associate, Business Analyst for the Crimson Population Risk Management Tool.

Sean pursued their passion for live sound engineering, working at Evangeline Cafe and Live Music Venue from 2017 to 2019, as well as at Sofar Sounds from 2019 to 2020.

In 2018, Sean began their tenure at Optum, where they held various roles including Senior Business Analyst, Production Support Manager, and Manager of Product Support for Optum One/Optum Performance Analytics (OPA)/CPRM/PHA.

Recently, in 2021, Sean has become a Graduate Student pursuing an MS in Health Care Transformation at the McCombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin.

Sean Patrick Harkins possesses an extensive education history that spans various fields of study. In 2021 and 2022, they attended the Texas McCombs School of Business, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Health Care Transformation. Prior to this, in 2014, they received a Professional Certification in Health Information Technology and Electronic Exchange from The University of Texas at Austin. From 2008 to 2013, Sean Patrick Harkins attended The University of Texas at Austin, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric & Writing / Musicology. During this time, they also pursued a degree in Audio Engineering and Music Production specializing in Audio Technologies/Technicians from Recording, Radio Film Connection, completing the program in 2013. In addition to their formal education, Sean Patrick Harkins holds certifications in HIPAA Compliance Training, which they obtained in January 2014 through HIPAA Bootcamp / Leanne Field, Ph.D., program director of Health IT and Health Exchange at UT Austin. Sean Patrick also acquired a Certified Audio Engineer certification in December 2012 from Recording Radio Film Connection.
