Sam Catterall

Sam Catterall has a diverse work experience in the property tax industry. Sam started their career at CVS Business Rent & Rates Specialists in 2014, where they first worked as a Surveyor. As a Surveyor, they were responsible for providing insights, analysis, and negotiation for fair and reasonable commercial rate review outcomes for clients. Sam also wrote accurate full survey and floor plans and handled Valuation Office negotiations.

In 2016, Sam became a Regional Director at CVS Business Rent & Rates Specialists. In this role, they continued to oversee rate review processes and manage client relationships until 2017.

In 2017, Sam joined Altus Group as a Regional Director. Sam held this position until January 2021 when they were promoted to Vice President, Property Tax. As Vice President, they have been responsible for high-level decision-making and strategic planning in property tax matters.

Sam Catterall completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Town and Country Planning at The University of Manchester from 2007 to 2011. Later, from 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Project Management at the same university. Prior to university, Sam attended Lymm High School from 2000 to 2007.
