Steven Eady

Steven Eady has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Steven started their career at the Calgary Board of Education as a Security/Energy Operator in 1991 and worked there until 1997. Following that, they joined HPI - Hugh A. Palmer Inc as a Security Advisor/Operations Manager, where they specialized in investigations and corporate security in the Oil and Gas and insurance industries. Steven worked at HPI from 1996 to 2000.

In 2001, Steven joined Deloitte as a Senior Manager, focusing on valuation, cost reporting, and assessment analysis for heavy industrial and oil & gas properties. Steven also handled construction cost reporting and negotiations with assessing authorities. Steven remained with Deloitte until 2008.

From 2008 onwards, Steven has been associated with Altus Group, first as a Senior Director for Energy & Complex Industrial Property Tax, and later as the Vice President for Complex Industrial & Energy Development and Head of Sales for Property Tax in Canada. In these roles, they led the Altus Group's Energy & Complex Industrial Property Tax practice for Western Canada and the national Complex Industrial Practice. Steven has extensive experience in advocacy, valuation, construction cost reporting, and assessment analysis for heavy industrial, oil & gas, and linear properties. Steven's expertise lies in cost-based assessments, and they have conducted detailed inspections throughout Western Canada and performed cost analysis of complex facilities in various industries such as Oil Sands, Power Generation, Oil and Gas, Telecommunications, Mining, and Manufacturing/Processing.

Overall, Steven Eady has accumulated a wealth of experience in property tax consulting, valuation, assessment analysis, and complex industrial fields throughout their career.

Steven Eady attended The University of British Columbia from 2001 to 2005, studying Real Property Assessment. Prior to that, they studied Security Management at the University of Calgary from 1995 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Steven has also obtained a certification in Time Management: Working from Home from LinkedIn in 2020.
