Ian Russell

Ian Russell has extensive experience in the automotive and oil and gas industries, beginning as an Apprentice Mechanic at Kens Garage from June 1990 to May 1996, followed by a role as a Mechanic & MOT Tester at Victoria Garage until May 1999. Ian served as a Consultant Technician at Arnold Clark Citroen from May 1999 to February 2007, where responsibilities included diagnosing complex vehicle issues and managing MOT testing quality control. A BMW Service Technician position at Calterdon BMW lasted from February 2007 to September 2007, focusing on vehicle repair and maintenance. Ian then transitioned to Sureclean from September 2007 to September 2008 as a Pump Engineer and worked as a Slickline Operator at Aker Qserv until October 2012. Presently, Ian holds the position of Slickline Supervisor at Expro, coordinating site visits and supervising operations for a Shell contract. Ian possesses a current IWCF certification and holds an NVQ in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology from Moray Firth Training Inverness.
