Geert van Den Broeck

Geert Van den Broeck is an accomplished finance and risk management professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Founder of VdB Finance and Risk Consulting since September 2021, Geert has also held the position of Director Risk Management at Aludium since January 2015, where responsibilities include managing a team focused on hedging base metal price risks and mitigating foreign exchange risks. Prior roles include Commodity Risk Manager at Nyrstar Sales and Marketing AG, Senior Investment Portfolio Manager and Senior Trader at AXA Bank Europe, and Senior Trader Forex Options at Dexia. Geert's career began at Monsanto Europe as a Production and Distribution Planner. Geert holds an M.B.A. from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Master in Economic Sciences from KU Leuven.
