Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith currently serves as the Regulatory Affairs Manager at The Aluminum Association, focusing on environmental, health, and safety regulatory priorities. Previously held roles include Government Affairs and International Relations Intern at the same organization, where responsibilities involved managing research projects and advocating for the aluminum industry. Additional experience includes serving as a Michigan Grown, Michigan Great Ambassador, Education and Outreach Intern at Application Insight, and Legislative Intern under Representative Julie Alexander. Earlier professional endeavors also featured a summer internship with the Michigan Corn Growers Association and a leadership position as the State Treasurer for the Michigan FFA Association. Andrew Smith holds a degree in Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Education with a focus on Agribusiness Management from Michigan State University.
