Shreya Dodballapur

Shreya Dodballapur's work experience includes being an Undergraduate Research Scholar at UCLA, where they conducted research on the aesthetic intersections of race and affect theory in modern film. Shreya presented their work to peers and academics at Winter Colloquium and UCLA Research Week and completed a 60-page thesis under the guidance of a faculty mentor. Shreya also worked as a Copy Editor for the Daily Bruin, where they edited over 300 stories according to AP style and sensitivity for print and digital content. Shreya approved content for various sections, including News, Sports, Arts/Entertainment, and Opinion. Additionally, they served as the President of the Alumni Scholars Club at UCLA, managing a 550+ person organization that provides renewable alumni-funded merit scholarships. Shreya oversaw an Executive Board, led meetings, and worked with alumni and students to uphold the organization's and alumni association's values.
