Andrew Padilla

Andrew Padilla is a senior principal at Alumni Ventures Group. Andrew has also served as a deep tech investor at Mithril Capital Management LLC, a global investment firm co-founded by Peter Thiel and Ajay Royan. As a deep tech investor, Padilla was responsible for making investments in companies such as Paxos, Glance, and Classy. Andrew also served as the founder of Simplending, a company they founded in June 2015 and ran until December 2018. Prior to that, they served as a principal in private markets investments at GCM Grosvenor from January 2017 to June 2019.

After Andrew Padilla graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in Accounting and Computer Science, they attended Columbia Business School to earn their MBA in Finance.

Their manager is Michael Collins, Chief Executive Officer, Board Chairman. Andrew Padilla works with Shraddha Deorukhkar - VP, Fund Accounting, Colin Van Ostern - President & Chief Operating Officer, and Sharon Ephraim - Chief Financial Officer.
