David Lang

Dave is a private equity investor with a focus on the software and healthcare industries. He worked from 1990-2015 at TA Associates, a large private equity firm, with roles ranging from Investment Analyst to Managing Director. Over his career at TA, Dave achieved a return of three times the capital he invested. Now, he invests on his own account in small, growing healthcare and tech companies. He is also Chairman of the Board of Lahey Hospital and Medical Clinic. A varsity basketball player at Harvard, Dave now is pursuing a second career in basketball coaching—currently the Assistant Coach of Babson Men’s College Basketball team. Dave has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Harvard University.
