Michael Raftery

Michael Raftery has over 30 years of experience in operations, quality, customer support, and engineering. Michael is currently the Vice President of Operations and Quality at Aluna, a role they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they were the Director Quality at Enel X from 2018-2020, President of Raftery Consulting LLC from 2018, and Sr. Director Operations and Quality at Breathometer from 2015-2018. From 2002-2015, they held multiple roles at Echelon, including Director of Corporate Quality and Manufacturing Engineering, Director of Corporate Quality and Customer Support for Internet of Things Products, Director of Corporate Quality, and Director of ASIC Manufacturing. From 2001-2002, they were a Sr. Consultant/Board Member at CommPlexus Corporation, Sr. Manager, Business Development at Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc. (an Alcatel-Lucent Company) from 2000-2001, and Business/Information Systems Project/Program Manager at Intel Corporation from 1997-2000. Michael began their career in 1988 as a Product Development Manager at Olin Corporation.

Michael Raftery completed their education with a diploma from Duxbury High School in 1984. Michael then attended Yale University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 1988. After that, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering in 1994. Michael also earned a Master of Science in Management (MBA) from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 1994.
