Andrew Noorollah, Ph.D. has over 30 years of work experience in the field of mental health. Andrew has held various leadership roles in different organizations. From 2003 to present, they have been working at Alvarado Parkway Institute Behavioral Health System, starting as the Director of Outpatient Services and later serving as the Executive Director of Outpatient Services/Director of Psychology, Executive Director of Outpatient Services, Director of Psychology, Executive Director of Clinical Services, and currently as the Chief Operating Officer. In these roles, they have overseen clinical services, program development, and supervision of interns and trainees. Andrew has also been responsible for managing employees, participating in departmental meetings, budget planning, and marketing.
In addition to their work at Alvarado Parkway Institute, Dr. Noorollah has also been an Adjunct Faculty at Alliant International University from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they worked as the Clinical Coordinator of Outpatient Psychiatric Services at Adventist Health Paradise Valley Hospital from 2001 to 2003 and as the Clinical Coordinator of Outpatient Services at Bayview Hospital and Mental Health System from 1999 to 2001. Andrew started their career as a Therapist/Care Coordinator at Scripps Mercy Outpatient Behavioral Health Services from 1997 to 1999 and gained further experience as a Pre-Doctoral Intern/Post Doctoral Fellow at Vista San Diego Center from 1995 to 1998. Andrew also worked as a Crisis Counselor at Jary Baretto Crisis Center from 1993 to 1997, a Pre-Doctoral Intern at Vista San Diego Center from 1992 to 1993, a Pre-Doctoral Intern at Aseltine School from 1991 to 1992, and a Practicum Therapist at The EYE Counseling and Crisis Services, Clinic Component from 1990 to 1991.
Dr. Noorollah's experience spans a wide range of clinical and leadership positions, showcasing their expertise in program development, supervision, and management in the mental health field.
Andrew Noorollah, Ph.D. began their education at JHS 141 from 1979 to 1982, followed by attending Cortez High School from 1982 to 1985. Andrew then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Arizona from 1985 to 1989. Subsequently, they attended both Alliant International University-San Diego Campus and California School of Professional Psychology from 1989 to 1997 to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology.
