Paul Musselman

Paul Musselman has extensive experience in corporate transformation and performance improvement, currently serving as a member of the Private Directors Association since January 2025, while holding the position of Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal since 2017. Recognized globally for expertise in enterprise transformation and carve-out/spin advisory, Musselman previously worked at KPMG as the US Practice Leader for Integration & Separation Advisory for TMT and served as Global Lead Partner for Avaya, Inc. Earlier roles include President and CEO at Carnegie Speech, VP of Corporate Development at Amdocs, EVP of Strategy & Corporate Development at Misys plc, and multiple executive positions at IBM Corporation. Early in his career, Musselman was a Vice President at Net Perceptions, Manager at Intel Corporation, and served in the Army Special Forces, where notable achievements include being a decorated medic and engineer during significant military operations. Musselman holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor’s degree in History of Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley.
