Travis Berger

Travis Berger serves as the Inaugural Applied Leadership Fellow and Professor of Business & Leadership at Alvernia University since August 2006. As the founding dean of the College of Business, Communication, and Leadership, Travis fostered a culture of excellence and successfully secured the largest alumni gift in university history, which transformed the business department. Other initiatives include launching the Community News Lab. In addition, Travis co-chairs the Business Department, overseeing diverse graduate and undergraduate programs, and is the founder and managing partner of Vide Consulting Group, LLC, a firm focused on leadership and management consulting. Travis’s professional background includes experience as a professional soccer player for Reading Rage and leadership training as an Officer Candidate in the United States Marine Corps. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Administration & Leadership Studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a M.Ed. from Alvernia University.
