Sofie Thor

Sofie Thor has extensive experience in public sector administration and project management, currently serving as Kanslichef and Projektledare at Alvesta Kommun since November 2020, focusing on the implementation of various corporate common processes. Prior roles include Revisionschef at Växjö kommun and Manager at KPMG Sweden, where advisory services related to municipal operational auditing and state internal auditing were provided. Sofie held several positions at Växjö kommun from December 2012 to January 2018, leading organizational changes in educational administration. Additionally, Sofie was involved in internal audit roles at Lunds universitet, contributing to collaborative auditing efforts with Linnéuniversitetet. Earlier experience includes consultancy at KPMG Sweden and a role as Departementssekreterare at Regeringskansliet, Utrikesdepartementet.
