Sandra Stevenson

Sandra Stevenson, LL.M., CAMS, CCEP has extensive experience in regulatory compliance, internal audit, and financial intelligence. Sandra currently serves as the Director of Regulatory Compliance at Alviere. Prior to that, they were the Head of US Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer at Luno from August 2022 to December 2023. From January 2021 to June 2022, they worked as a Regulatory Compliance Manager at WorldRemit. Sandra also held various roles at Western Union, including Sr. Manager of the Financial Intelligence Unit from May 2015 to December 2020 and Sr. Manager of Internal Audit from May 2013 to May 2015. Sandra started their career as a Compliance Coordinator at the University of Denver from March 2010 to May 2013. Sandra also worked as a Managing Director at Ascella Compliance from September 2008 to March 2010 and as a Compliance Consultant at Wells Fargo Bank from June 2005 to September 2008. Earlier in their career, they served as an Audit Team Lead at First Data Corporation and as a Compliance Specialist at MoneyGram International. Overall, Sandra Stevenson brings a wealth of experience in regulatory compliance and financial risk management to their current role.

Sandra Stevenson, LL.M., CAMS, CCEP obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management with an emphasis in HR from Colorado Christian University. Later, they pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in International Law and Legal Studies from The University of Edinburgh. Sandra also completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Commercial Law and Practice from the University of Edinburgh Law School.
