Gudrun Yr Gunnarsdottir is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and management within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Alvogen since 2019, Gudrun has held several key leadership roles, including VP Business Development at Alvotech and VP Business Development out-licensing at Alvogen. Prior to these positions, Gudrun was Sales & Business Development Director for Europe and Emerging markets at Xellia Pharmaceuticals and held various senior roles at Actavis, including VP OTC & acquired brands and Global Director of Acquired Brands. Gudrun began a career in leadership as CEO of Icepharma and General Manager at Isfarm. Educational qualifications include an MBA from BI Norwegian Business School and a Master's degree in Pharmacy from Háskóli Íslands.
