Stefan Amann

Stefan Amann, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Stefan began their career as a Ph.D. student at the Institute for Enzyme Technologies, where they worked from 1996 to 2000. Stefan then joined Sigma Aldrich as the Head of Analytical Development Unit from 2000 to 2006. In 2006, Stefan Amann joined MEDA Manufacturing GmbH as the Laboratory Manager of Quality Control until 2017. Stefan then moved on to Alvotech Germany GmbH, where they served as the Head of Quality Assurance from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Stefan Amann holds the position of Director Quality PPD - R&D Global Quality at Alvotech since December 2020.

Stefan Amann, Ph.D., attended RWTH Aachen University from 1990 to 2000. During this time, they pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Macrolide Antibiotics.
