Justin Rich

Justin Rich is the Director of Cloud Engineering & IT at alwaysAI. Prior to alwaysAI, Justin was a Senior Software Engineer at Intuit from May 2018 to August 2018. At Intuit, Justin enjoyed working on the internal tools team where they built amazing applications to enhance and streamline the workflow for fellow Intuit employees.

From September 2015 to August 2016, Justin was the Lead Developer and Senior Development Engineer at SilverVue, Inc. At SilverVue, Justin was a Meteor developer and platform architect for a hosted healthcare platform.

From August 2018 to April 2021, Justin was a Senior Software Architect at Joint Software Development, LLC. At Joint Software Development, Justin built various products for the automobile dealership industry as well as other industries. Their primary focus was writing software and supporting the team to promote the success of their products. The stacks used included Javascript, Typescript, StencilJS, Ionic, Capacitor, ReactJS, NativeScript, Serverless, AWS Lambda, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Express/Sequelize, various other AWS services, Node and others.

Prior to Joint Software Development LLC, Justin was a Senior Developer at Patriot Labs, LLC from December 2017 to May 2018.

Justin Rich has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from California State University San Marcos and a Mathematics and Computer Science degree from MiraCosta College.

A direct report to Justin Rich is and Carlos Lazo - Cloud Engineer. They are on a team with Tony Jesudoss - Computer Vision Engineer, Eric Vanbuhler - Director, Software Engineering, and Sadegh Nouri Gooski - Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Justin Rich reports to Steve Griset, CTO & Co-Founder.
