Lori Richter

Lori Richter has extensive work experience in quality management systems and risk management in the pharmaceutical industry. Lori is currently the Senior Director of GxP Quality Management System at ALX Oncology, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. as the Senior Director of Quality Systems from April 2021 to January 2023 and as the Director of GxP Global Learning and Risk Management from February 2020 to April 2022. Before joining Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc., Richter worked as a Senior Consultant at ValSource, LLC from November 2016 to February 2020.

Their earlier experience includes various roles at Genentech, including Vacaville QA/Site Compliance from March 2016 to November 2016, Site Risk Manager from January 2013 to March 2016, Senior Quality Risk Management Specialist from January 2009 to January 2013, Quality Assurance Senior Investigator from July 2004 to December 2008, Quality Assurance Associate from May 2000 to July 2004, and Fermentation Technician from January 1999 to May 2000. Their responsibilities at Genentech included leading investigations, facilitating root cause analysis meetings, and providing manufacturing and quality support. Lori also played a key role in implementing risk management processes and training programs.

Lori Richter obtained an Associate of Science degree in Biology from Yuba College in 1996. Lori then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at California State University-Chico from 1996 to 1998. Currently, Lori is working towards their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at Technological University Dublin, which they are expected to complete by 2023.
