Cody Rice

Cody Rice is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in economic analysis, data strategy, and policy development. Currently serving as Professional Staff at the Alaska State Legislature since April 2023, Cody focuses on economic modeling related to fiscal policy proposals and education funding research. In addition, Cody works as a Ski Instructor at Alyeska Resort, utilizing strong communication skills to teach diverse audiences in a safe environment. Previous roles include Data Strategist and Executive Director at UBS, where Cody delivered alternative data products across various sectors, and Research Director at Wood Mackenzie, assisting buy-side clients with energy needs. Cody's extensive experience in oil and gas policy began with positions at the Alaska Department of Revenue, BP, and various roles within the Alaska State Legislature, culminating in a solid foundation in resource economics with a Master's degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
