Jáchym Barvínek

Jáchym Barvínek has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. From November 2021, they have been working as a Data Scientist at Alza.cz a.s. Prior to that, they were a PhD Student, researcher, and developer at the Czech Technical University in Prague starting from September 2016. Before that, they worked as an AI Software Developer at Blindspot Solutions from October 2015 to April 2017. Jáchym also worked as a Programmer and developer at Trustica s.r.o. from June 2008 to February 2013, where they extended open-source software for clients and developed web applications and database applications. Jáchym started their career as a Programmer at JabbIM in 2007.

Jáchym Barvínek began their education at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague in 2010. Jáchym pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences, completing it in 2013. Following their undergraduate degree, they went on an Erasmus program at Linköping University in 2013-2014, focusing on Artificial Intelligence. Jáchym then returned to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague to obtain their Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from 2014 to 2016.
