Carla Kent

Carla Kent has a strong work experience in the field of data analytics and management. Carla has held various leadership roles throughout their career. In their most recent position as Vice President, Analytics and Insights at AM LLC, they oversaw a team of over 50 data professionals and focused on providing guidance and cultivating a culture of excellence in serving clients. Prior to that, Carla was a Manager, Advanced Analytics & Training at Icimo Analytics by Cherry Bekaert, where they led a team of more than 10 data professionals and ensured data integrity. Carla also has experience as a Sr. Data Analytics & Research Specialist at Durham Technical Community College, where they performed comprehensive data analysis and played a key role in grant funding applications. Carla began their career as a Project Engineer at MCI Corporation.

Carla Kent holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University, which they obtained in 1996. Carla also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Analytics from Southern New Hampshire University. In addition to their degrees, Carla has obtained various certifications including Tableau Analyst Certification from Tableau Software in 2021, Alteryx Designer Certification from Alteryx in 2019, and Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate Certification from Tableau Software in 2017.
