Karen McFarlane

Karen McFarlane, NACD.DC, is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. As the Founder of Colossal Work, Karen empowers marketing teams to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) through research and dialogue. Serving on the board of AMA New York in various capacities, including Immediate Past President and Chair of DEI Innovation, Karen has contributed to the elevation of the marketing profession through professional development and networking. As Chief Marketing Officer at Kaye Media, Karen oversees a collective dedicated to comprehensive marketing solutions with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Previous roles include Global Marketing Director at Return Path and Chief Marketing Officer at LetterShopNYC. Karen holds an MBA in Marketing from American InterContinental University and additional qualifications in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Women’s Entrepreneurship from New York University and Cornell University, respectively.
