Mike Foorer

Mike Foorer has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Mike began their career in 1996 as a Market Research Analyst at Novopharm. Mike then moved to Wyeth-Ayerst Canada in 1997, where they were a Market Research Manager. In 1999, they became a Market Research Manager at Parke-Davis. From 2000 to 2008, Foorer worked at Biovail as a Director of Business Development. In 2008, they became a Director of Business Development & Market Intelligence at Trimel Pharmaceuticals Corporation. In 2014, Foorer took on multiple roles, including Business Development at Aptalis Pharmaceutical Technologies (now Adare Pharmaceuticals), Director Corporate Development & Director Business Development at SteriMax Inc., and Guest Lecturer at Rutgers University. In 2019, they joined the Canadian Healthcare Licensing Association (CHLA) as a Board Member. Most recently, Foorer was appointed Vice President Business Development & General Manager at AmacaThera in 2021.

Mike Foorer obtained a Global Professional Master of Laws (GPLLM) from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2021. Mike also earned an MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University in 2000, with a focus in Finance and Marketing. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc from McMaster University in 1995, with a double major in Biology and Psychology.
