Nikolaus Samberger

Nikolaus Samberger is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience at Amadeus since July 1997, currently serving as SVP Cloud Transformation Program, leading a significant transition to cloud services primarily on Azure, GCP, and AWS. Previously held roles include SVP Engineering and IT Director, overseeing the Application & Data Platform and managing a team of over 400 engineers focused on developing cloud-native solutions for airlines. Samberger has led multiple R&D units with up to 450 specialists in the airline operations sector and has directed the development of mission-critical applications that support nearly half of the world's air travel. Early career experiences include positions at DVDpasCher and Aerospatiale, where technical leadership and software development skills were honed. Samberger holds multiple business leadership program certificates and a Master of Engineering degree in electronic and computer sciences.
