Ponkumar Sakthivel

Ponkumar Sakthivel has a diverse work experience in the broadcasting and media industry. Ponkumar started their career in 2014 as a Playout Operations Engineer at Makkal Tv, where they were responsible for transmission functions and resolving service incidents. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Broadcasting Operations Executive at Planetcast Media Services Limited, where they provided support for StarSports Channels and handled playout broadcasting operations for various sports events. In 2019, Ponkumar joined Tata Communications as a Senior Video NOC Engineer and worked in a NOC environment dedicated to media customers, with a primary focus on OTT services. Currently, they are employed at Amagi Corporation as a Lead Tech - VOD Support, starting in 2021.

Ponkumar Sakthivel completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Government College Of Engineering, Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu, from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Nagasiva Polytechnic College, Madurai, Tamilnadu, from 2009 to 2011. Ponkumar completed their Higher Secondary Education (HSE) in Maths from St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Madurai, Tamilnadu, from 2007 to 2009. Ponkumar also completed their Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) from Government Higher Secondary School, Sayalkudi, from 2005 to 2007.
