Kevin Kenney

Kevin Kenney, PMP, ICP-APM has over 20 years of experience in project and program management. Kevin currently serves as the Director of Technology Strategy and Governance at Amalgamated Bank, where they created the IT Program Management Office to support the successful delivery of the Technology Strategic Roadmap and manages the IT Regulatory and Internal Audit deliverables.

Prior to that, Kenney worked at Citi for 13 years, holding various roles including Head of Program Management Office and Regulatory Affairs, Chief Technology Office, and Program Governance and Executive Reporting Head. In these roles, they created and managed a centralized global Program Management Office, oversaw regulatory commitments, ensured program and project management procedures were aligned with standards, and mobilized initiative PMOs for complex global strategic initiatives.

Before joining Citi, Kenney worked at Comverge as a Program Manager, managing energy demand response programs. Kevin also worked at Kraft Foods Group as a Project Manager, where they planned and managed QA testing activities, and at Alcoa as a Process Engineer, overseeing production processes and utilizing Six Sigma techniques to improve production defects.

Overall, Kenney has a strong background in strategic planning, governance, and delivery of enterprise and IT projects, with a focus on regulatory compliance and program management.

Kevin Kenney, PMP, ICP-APM, earned a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Lehigh University, which they completed from 1994 to 1998. In addition, they hold several certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification obtained in 2006 from the Project Management Institute, the Six Sigma Greenbelt certification obtained in 2001 from Alcoa, and the ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Project Management (ICP-APM) certification from the International Institute for Learning.
