Michael Madonia

Michael Madonia has a strong background in business banking, starting with their role as a Business Banker at The Bank of New York from 2002-2006. Michael then joined M&T Bank, where they worked as a Vice President - Business Relationship Manager from 2007-2013, responsible for managing and building a portfolio of business banking clients in the NYC area. From 2013 until present, Michael has been with M&T Bank as a Senior Vice President - Business Banking Team Leader, managing a team of Business Bankers in Westchester NY and Fairfield CT. In this role, they focus on small business lending and relationship management, providing lending and cash management solutions. Most recently, in 2022, Michael joined Amalgamated Bank as a Senior Vice President and Director of Business Banking, leading the development and growth of the Business Banking Division. Michael is building a team and platform to bring Amalgamated Bank to businesses that share the same values and is passionate about these issues and wants the same from their financial institution.

Michael Madonia completed their MBA in Finance at Pace University - Lubin School of Business from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from SUNY Geneseo between 1998 and 2002.
