Monica Vera

Monica Vera possesses extensive experience in corporate security and emergency management. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Corporate Security Manager at Amalgamated Bank since September 2019, Vera previously held positions including Homeland Security Analyst I at the NYS Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services and TSO Acting Lead/OJT Coach at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Earlier career highlights include roles at AIG in vendor screening and security services, as well as providing bilingual outreach services at Jersey City Medical Center.
