John Szot

John Szot has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. John most recently worked as the General Manager & Executive Director at Amano McGann, Inc., where they were responsible for team and customer success, P&L management, operational excellence, and driving sales growth. Prior to that, they were self-employed as a business consultant, offering expertise in business growth, HR, relationship building, sales growth, training, and speaking appearances. Earlier in their career, John served as the General Manager at Laird Plastics, overseeing sales activities and ensuring exceptional customer service. John also held the position of Branch Manager at Allied Electronics, where they directed branch operations and managed sales activities. Additionally, John worked as a District Manager at RGIS Inventory Specialists, where they were responsible for sales, hiring, training, budgeting, and P&L management.

John Szot has a diverse education history that spans several decades. In 1985, they attended Penn State Greater Allegheny, where they pursued general courses. From 1988 to 1990, they studied at the University of Pittsburgh and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Education. In 2012, John obtained a Professional Certificate of Industrial Distribution from Purdue University, specializing in Industrial Distribution. Moreover, they are currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the Quantic School of Business and Technology, starting in 2022 and expected to conclude in 2023.

Additionally, John has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2007 and 2009, they completed the Level I and Level II Plastics Certificate Programs, respectively, offered by the International Association of Plastics Distribution. In 2012, they completed the Excellence in Sales Certificate Training Program from the International Association of Plastics Distribution and earned the Laird Plastics Bronze Certification. In 2013, they obtained the Laird Plastics Silver Certification, which encompassed advanced sales, product, computer, operations, and personal development skills. In 2015, John obtained their Level One Coaching Certification from US Lacrosse and the NAW Next Generation Leadership certificate from Western International University. Subsequently, in 2016, they achieved the Level II Coaching Certification from US Lacrosse. Finally, in 2019, John completed the OSHA 30 Hour certification through 360training.com, and in 2008, they obtained the American Heart Association First Aid, CPR & AED certification.
