Uday Kasavajjula

Uday Kasavajjula is a seasoned professional in the field of energy storage and lithium-ion battery technology, currently serving as Senior General Manager at Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Ltd since September 2023. Previously, Kasavajjula held the position of Director of Product Development at Solid Power, Inc. from September 2019 to August 2023 and served as Lithium Ion Cell Team Lead at Enevate Corporation from September 2017 to August 2019. Kasavajjula began a career at Johnson Controls, where roles included Principal Engineer and Senior Cell R&D Engineer, working on significant advancements in prismatic and cylindrical cell technologies. Academic achievements include a Ph.D. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University, where research focused on mathematical modeling of discharge behavior in lithium-ion batteries and the development of advanced anode materials.
