Shawn Talbott has extensive experience in the field of science and nutrition. Shawn'smost recent position was as the Chief Science Officer & Founding Executive at Amare Global, where they were responsible for research, development, and product strategy related to mental wellness and human performance. Prior to this, they held various roles including Chief Science Officer at LifeVantage Corporation and MonaVie, and Vice President of Innovation & Education at MonaVie. Shawn also served as the Chief Endurance Officer at Wicked Fast Sports Nutrition, where they focused on developing natural products for weight loss and sports nutrition. Additionally, Talbott worked as a Research Director at SupplementWatch, Inc., a Scientific Advisor at XanGo and GoYin, and as the Chief Scientific Officer at Metabolic Method. Shawn Talbott has an extensive education history with degrees and certifications in various fields. Shawn started their educational journey at Marietta College from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fitness Management and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Sports Medicine.

Shawn later pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Exercise Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1989 to 1992. Following this, they attended Rutgers University from 1994 to 1998, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nutritional Biochemistry.

In 2005, Shawn Talbott enrolled in the MIT Sloan School of Management and completed the Entrepreneurial Master's Program (EMP) in Entrepreneurship from 2005 to 2007.

Expanding their knowledge in sports nutrition, they obtained a Diploma in Sports Nutrition from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 2012-2013. Additionally, they received an Advanced Certificate for Executives in Management, Innovation, and Technology (ACE in MIT) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2012 to 2015. This certificate covered various disciplines such as Business, Management, Entrepreneurship, Product Development, and Strategic Marketing.
