Harm-Jan van Schaik

Harm-Jan van Schaik is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public administration and governance. Currently serving as a member of the board of directors at Amaris Zorggroep, Harm-Jan oversees the quality, safety, and continuity of care while managing strategic leadership and partners' relations. As vice-chairman of the Supervisory Board at Intermaris, Harm-Jan focuses on housing and real estate. Harm-Jan has held various leadership roles, including Mayor of Harderwijk and Chair of the Zuiderzeegemeenten Association, emphasizing culture and tourism. Harm-Jan has also contributed to regional collaborations through multiple chair positions, including the Noord Veluwe Strategic Alliance and the North Veluwe region. Moreover, Harm-Jan has experience as Director of Policy and Strategy at the Municipality of Wassenaar and as an interim manager and advisor at Acta-Advies BV.
