Wanyin Yu has a diverse work experience in various industries. Wanyin currently serves as the Director of International Business Department at AMASS GLOBAL NETWORK GROUP CO.,LTD, starting in November 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Sequoia Fellow at Sequoia Capital starting in March 2020. Wanyin also worked as a Talent Program Fellow at Hillhouse Capital Management in December 2018 and as a Net Impact Impact Investing Fellow at Net Impact in November 2018. In terms of their previous roles, Wanyin served as a Senior Manager at Dehuan Express (快递) from October 2020, where they designed and developed logistic solutions for key account clients and developed strategies for KAM and employee training programs. Wanyin was an Investment Intern at SCGC Capital, Inc from January 2020 to June 2020, assisting with deal sourcing, investment proposals, and daily office management. Wanyin also worked as an IPO summer analyst at Haitong Securities from July 2019 to September 2019. Additionally, they interned at Shanzhai City as a Summer Research Intern in Impact Investing from June 2018 to August 2018 and at Stieler Technologie- & Marketing-Beratung GmbH & Co. KG as a Pre-SIPA Strategy Consulting Intern from May 2018 to August 2018. Wanyin's earliest professional experience was as an Investment Manager at 23Seed, a venture capital platform, from August 2015 to May 2017. In this role, they developed strategic partnerships and identified investment opportunities in TMT, Fintech, and entertainment industries. Wanyin also managed the Chinese version of the "Shark Tank" TV show and provided startup policy consultancy.
Wanyin Yu has a diverse education history. Wanyin completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Impact Investing at Columbia Business School from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at Columbia | SIPA. Wanyin'sMPA focused on International Finance and Economic Policy, as well as Social Enterprise Management.
Wanyin began their educational journey by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Wanyin attended this institution from 2011 to 2014.
Furthermore, Wanyin holds additional certifications. In May 2020, they obtained the FMVA certification from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI). Additionally, in November 2015, they became a National Level 3 Psychology Consultant, certified by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China.
