The Managing Director of Sales  will own the setting of the vision and will collaborate to optimize the strategies, processes, systems, and talent that will accelerate Amaze and Spring’s ability to help creators successfully build their brands. The right candidate will quickly become a trusted operating partner and strategic advisor and will ensure successful delivery of Sales planning, Sales incentive design and administration, forecasting, pipeline management, and pitching and crafting unique creator deals.

Our current clients include creators, brands and agencies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adept at managing multiple priorities, and brings creativity to solve solutions. Whilst this role is an Executive position within the business, there is an expectation to lean in with the team to drive new business opportunities and where required manage some larger client accounts.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure prospective and existing client accounts are on track for profitable growth
  • Developing top talent, which will help the Client Success and Retail Sales team to achieve its short-term goals and long-term sales goals
  • Working closely with Directors of Client Success and Retail Sales Lead to drive go-to-market strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Product to achieve growth goals
  • Owning and setting the vision for the Sales department, fostering a culture of collaboration and data-driven decision making, and prioritizing an achievable roadmap for the team
  • Focusing on the productivity of the Client Success and Retail Sales team and developing the roadmap for continuous improvement
  • Facilitate collaboration with Sales teams and Creative Designers to create and manage sales collateral for clients
  • Ensuring Spring’s technology infrastructure scales to keep pace with growth through effective internal partnerships
  • Partnering with Executive Leadership to drive effective forecasting processes and driving predictable sales intelligence
  • Collaborate with Operations and Business Analytics teams to identify team/individual/segment performance trends through the proactive analysis of reports and dashboards, helping to translate the intelligence into actionable plans that will help the Client Success and Retail Sales teams take advantage of growth opportunities and manage risks

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience with 5+ years experience as a Sales/Revenue Operations Leader in an Enterprise Software/SaaS company
  • Experience developing and implementing sales goals, objectives and key performance indicators
  • Proven ability to lead and scale sales operations of significant scope through growth periods
  • Experience managing and developing Sales and Design teams
  • Results-oriented with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives while meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Experience managing large business accounts and net new business and renewals
  • Proficiency with a variety of Sales methodologies and fostering long-term relationships with key clients
  • Experience with a CRM and Project Management systems is required, Hubspot and Monday are preferable
  • Deep experience with Business Intelligence (BI) applications and reporting
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Marketing
  • Strong business acumen and experience providing strategic advice to customers
  • Exceptional ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of personalities, levels, and role capacities
  • Confidence, with accurate and clear communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and analytical (ability to understand data/reporting)
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator, with the ability to influence Executives and other Leaders through the earning of credibility based on domain expertise and a track record of getting things done
  • Ability to thrive in a high energy, fast paced environment
