Laura Haines

Laura Haines has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Starting in 2002, they worked as a Business Owner at McIntyre Consulting for seven years.

In 2008, Laura joined the Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing Research group as a Mobile Developer and Researcher, where they conducted research and developed applications and prototypes related to pervasive computing.

In 2009, they briefly worked as a Software Developer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., specializing in profit-and-loss and financial reporting platforms for equities businesses. Laura also worked as a Software Developer at JPMorgan Chase from 2010 to 2013, focusing on trade order management systems in the asset management equities department.

From 2013 to 2015, Laura worked at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management as an Agile Project Manager, leading multiple teams and managing enterprise data warehouse projects using both Agile and Waterfall approaches.

Laura then joined Skyscanner in 2013 as a Senior Project Manager, responsible for driving product delivery and program execution. Laura later became the Americas Lead and Regional Product Lead, overseeing strategic planning, product market fit, and team leadership.

In 2018, Laura transitioned to Typeform.com, where they served as the Head of Product Management and later as the Director of Product Management.

Laura joined Canva in 2019 as the Vice President of Growth - Marketing & Engagement, responsible for driving revenue and cross-funnel growth. Laura then became a Product Leader and finally the GM Global Partnerships and Products, leading business units and driving revenue growth.

In 2021, Laura became an Executive Board Member at WedFun App and took on the role of Chief Product Officer & Interim CTO at Amaze. Laura is currently the Chief Growth & Innovation Officer at Amaze, driving growth and innovation strategies for the company.

Laura Haines obtained their BSc. (Hons) degree in Software Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In 2015, they acquired the Certified Professional Agile Coaching ICP-ACC certification from ICAgile.
