Evelyn A. Alvarez

Evelyn A. Alvarez is a Full Stack Web Developer Intern at LEARN Academy, where over 160 hours of coding experience has been gained, including hands-on work on a progress tracking app using technologies such as Tailwind CSS, React, and Rails. In addition to current internship experience, Evelyn has been an Entrepreneur focused on authorship and graphic design with Amazon KDP Publishing and Merch by Amazon since 2021 and 2020, respectively, creating and marketing self-published books and branded merchandise. Prior experience includes serving as a Master-at-Arms in the US Navy from June 2013 to September 2019, where leadership and security expertise were developed across various roles. Educational background includes completing a program at LEARN Academy and obtaining a High School Diploma from Middle College High School at LaGuardia Community College.
