Cristian Craioveanu

Cristian Craioveanu is a seasoned software development manager with extensive experience in cloud security and software engineering. Currently serving as a Software Development Manager at Amazon since October 2021, Cristian contributes to the AWS Simple Email Service. Prior to Amazon, Cristian held multiple senior roles at Microsoft from October 2006 to October 2021, including Principal Software Engineer Manager and Senior Security Software Engineer Manager, managing teams focused on cloud security services for Office 365 products. Cristian's earlier roles at Microsoft included Senior Software Engineer, Security SDE, and Virus Analyst, where expertise was applied in vulnerability detection and malware analysis. Cristian's career began as a Software Development Engineer at Prosoft Solutions from July 2003 to September 2006, following a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, obtained in 2004.
