Ellen Marie Bartling

Ellen Marie Bartling is a senior product designer with a decade of experience in interaction design, prototyping, and front-end technology. Currently, they serve as a Principal UX Designer at Amazon, focusing on the Kindle platform while having made significant contributions as a Senior User Experience Designer for Kindle Vella. Previously, Ellen worked at Emergent Order, where they led design initiatives for clients such as Whole Foods Market and The Humane Society. They began their career at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, managing design projects and founding an analytics program. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Visual Design certificate from General Assembly.
