Lameez Vania

Lameez Vania serves as the Head of Legal for Amazon in South Africa, bringing a wealth of experience in legal leadership roles across various companies. Prior positions include Head of Legal for Global Indirect Procurement at Reckitt, as well as Legal Director for both Sub Saharan Africa and Health Africa at the same company. Lameez has also held the position of General Counsel - Commercial Law at Tiger Brands and was Senior Legal Counsel for South & East Africa at Tetra Pak. Additionally, Lameez has experience as Acting Executive Manager in the Litigation Division and Senior Legal Advisor in Commercial & Competition Law at Transnet Freight Rail. Educational qualifications include participation in the Women's Leadership Development Programme at the University of Oxford and coursework in Drafting & Negotiating IT Contracts from Falconbury, both completed in 2023.
